My Background

My name is Hannah (she/her), and I’m a trauma-informed therapist dedicated to helping people reconnect with their bodies and inner wisdom. My path into healing began over a decade ago as a student of yoga, where I discovered the profound impact of the breath and body on emotional and physical well-being. However, it was my time working in healthcare as a nurse assistant that truly shaped my perspective on healing.

After several years in the medical field, I became disillusioned by the limitations of the Western medical model, which often treated symptoms without considering the whole person. I witnessed countless patients suffering and saw how the systems in place didn’t support true healing — only temporary relief. This experience led me to my work at an alternative healing center in Austin, TX where I was introduced to a holistic approach to healing that emphasizes whole-body wellness and the deep connection between mind, body, and spirit. Through integrative practices, including psychedelic-assisted therapy, the center fosters profound healing by addressing all aspects of the self.

Today, I integrate somatic practices, trauma-informed care, and mindfulness into my work, helping clients release old patterns and find deeper self-connection. I specialize in supporting individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, CPTSD, relationship dynamics, and identity exploration. My approach is rooted in the belief that healing is a journey of reconnecting with the body’s wisdom, and I’m here to walk alongside you on that path.

EMDR Therapy

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a therapeutic approach designed to help individuals process traumatic memories and experiences that may have become “stuck” in the brain. When we experience trauma, our brain sometimes struggles to fully process and integrate those memories, leading to ongoing emotional distress or intrusive thoughts. EMDR uses guided bilateral stimulation—such as eye movements or tapping—to help the brain reprocess these memories in a way that reduces their emotional charge and allows for healthier coping. This process helps shift the way we relate to painful memories, making them less disruptive and enabling us to move forward with greater emotional balance and resilience.

In my heart-centered healing approach, EMDR aligns deeply with my belief in healing from a place of compassion, presence, and self-connection. By integrating EMDR with somatic practices and mindfulness, we create space for not only releasing the emotional weight of past trauma but also for nurturing the heart’s capacity to heal, grow, and thrive. It’s a way of moving through your past with care and compassion, while reconnecting with your authentic self and building a more peaceful, grounded future.
