My Therapeutic Approach

Evidence-based tools we can use to explore, process, and release what’s holding you back

Relational Therapy

At the heart of my work is the belief that healing happens in relationships. I believe therapy should be a space where we can be real, messy, awkward, and explore the parts of ourselves we usually hide. Together, we’ll practice vulnerability, setting boundaries, navigating difficult emotions, and noticing your patterns—so you leave not just feeling understood, but better equipped to show up authentically in the world and in your relationships.

Parts Work

Internal Family Systems (IFS) helps you get to know the different parts of yourself— especially the younger ones that still carry old wounds, unmet needs, or protective roles. Instead of judging or pushing them away, we meet each part with curiosity and compassion. Whether it’s the inner critic, the overachiever, or the tender child inside you, each part has something valuable to teach. By listening and responding with care, you can create a sense of internal harmony, feel more at peace, and connect more fully with yourself.

Somatic Work

Somatic therapy is about getting out of your head and back into your body—where much of the hard stuff actually lives. Trauma, stress, and emotional pain often show up as tension, tightness, or that nagging sense of disconnection you can’t quite shake. Together, we’ll tune into those sensations—through breath, movement, or simply noticing what’s happening in your body—and gently release what’s been holding you back.

EMDR

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) helps you process experiences and memories that continue to hold you back—especially the ones that feel overwhelming, confusing, or stuck in your body. Instead of avoiding or pushing them away, we gently guide the brain to reprocess these memories so they lose their charge. Whether it’s past trauma, anxiety, or persistent negative beliefs, EMDR helps you make sense of the experience, release what no longer serves you, and step into a greater sense of safety, clarity, and self-compassion.
